Tea with the Dean
SASI arranges for all iSchool students to have an opportunity to join in conversation with the Dean of the iSchool over a cup of tea. They can hear what the Dean has to say about the university dynamics that impact us on a daily basis, and ask questions or give feedback to affect change. Tea with the Dean events are typically held in October and March.
Mixers and Celebrations
At the end of Fall and Spring sessions, SASI hosts a special party to honor new graduates, welcome old friends, and celebrate the end of another fabulous semester! All iSchool students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to the party.
Throughout the academic year, SASI co-hosts mixers with other University of Texas graduate schools. These mixers are a great opportunity to meet other graduate students!
Edible Book Festival
This was a delightful April Fool’s tradition that SASI had hosted for several years.
