Suspended absorber membranes published in Nano Letters!!

Our paper on “Suspended, Polarization-Dependent, Subwavelength-Perforated Metal Absorber for Mid-Infrared Bolometry” is published in Nano Letters.  A collaboration with the Povinelli group at USC, led by Silvia Guadagnini and UT Mid-IR Research Associate Zarko Sakotic, we show strong, polarization-dependent absorption in perforated ultra-thin membranes.  This work was funded by the… read more
