Rigaku SCXMini is equipped with a Mo 3kW long fine focused sealed tube source with an advanced Mercury2 CCD detector. It uses a point focus Mo source with a curved graphite monochromator.  It produces an X-ray beam ~0.5 mm in diameter.   This instrument is equipped with two axis goniometer omega-, phi – scans only.   2Theta angle is fixed at 30 degrees, and fixed kappa 54 degrees allowing resolution up to 0.66 Ang. Instrument is designed to collect shuttered exposure diffraction images. Instrument is being controlled by CrysAlisPro that allows an automatic data reduction and structure solution.
