Also known as Mothers And Caregivers Investing in Children, MAGIC is a study that observes children’s health and development within the first two years of life. The study is a collaboration between multiple labs and PIs in two departments: the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences and the Department of Nutritional Sciences.
Our lab primarily focuses on the cognitive portion of this study’s in-person visits. Infants come in for sessions at 12-months old and again at 24-months old. During the cognitive portion, we give participants a memory task and an attention task. To learn more the overall study, please visit the MAGIC Study page.
