Congratulations to one of our graduate research assistants, Eunice Kim, who presented her thesis research at the 2025 Texas Bays and Estuaries Meeting at the UT Marine Science Institute! Her thesis is centered around exploring the relationships between diet quality, fish consumption, fishing practices, and food security.

Congratulations to one of our undergraduate researchers, Margot Heltzel, who presented her research at the 2025 Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Conference and the 2025 UT Undergraduate Research Symposium. Her research focuses on reported obstacles to food security in US Military Households in Texas.
