Executive Board Karey Maynor | President Karey is a 3rd year PhD student working in Dr. Vaibhav Bahadur’s lab on carbon capture and sequestration, green ammonia production, and related sustainable energy topics. This is his third role within GEC – for 2022-2023 he served as the Financial Director and for 2021-2022 he served as the IT Director/Webmaster. Katrina Maynor | Vice President Katrina is a 3rd year PhD student in Operations Research. Her research focus is Decision Analysis–the study of making good decisions under uncertainty–and her current project explores the optimal split of effort between idea generation and evaluation. Outside of school, she enjoys pottery, reading, and spending time with her husband and their pup, Margot.
