
Minsu is a PhD student researching electrical engineering with interest in brain-computer interfaces. He has been with GEC since 2020, serving as a social chair and was also the president of Korean Student Association at UT. He loves to run (Half marathon record – 2:06:25) and cook (Instagram: @cooking.in.austin).

Hamzah Khan is a second-year Aerospace Engineering Ph.D. student working with Dr. David Fridovich-Keil on multi-agent robotics and game-theoretic control. In his free time, he enjoys strategy games, reading all varieties of books, and traveling. He looks forward to getting to know others at UT Austin, so don’t be a stranger!
Karey is a 2nd year PhD student working in Dr. Vaibhav Bahadur’s lab on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and microfluidics. This is his second role within GEC – for 2021-2022 he served as the IT Director/Webmaster.

Siva (Sivasakthya) Mohan is a fourth-year graduate student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. She is working on understanding the mechanics of 2D material interfaces for large area transfer processes. This is her fourth year with GEC, and she served on the GAIN committee for two years, was the GEC Financial Director in 2019 and GEC Secretary in 2020. Outside of school, she is an Indian classical dancer and enjoys cooking.
