GEC Travel Grants
Travel Grant applications are now open!
Every year, GEC provides travel grants to student to cover a portion of expenses for academic travel such as conferences.
GEC awards several monetary grants to graduate engineers in the Cockrell School to facilitate travel and attendance to conferences in their fields of study between September 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019.
Applications are due March 29, 2018 at 5:00PM CST. Winners will be announced in April 2019. Travel grants are awarded as a reimbursement for personal expenditures not covered by any other external source (grants, scholarship, fellowship, etc.). Up to $500, per recipient pre-tax, will be awarded based on recipient’s merits and need.
