Describe a shadowing experience that has impacted you the most.
My favorite shadowing experience so far has been shadowing a urogynecologist. I learned about conditions that affect many women but are rarely talked about. Seeing the doctor counsel patients about sensitive health issues and the level of trust in those relationships affirmed my desire to pursue a career as a physician.
How has HCMP benefited your professional or individual goals?
HCMP has opened my eyes to a variety of specialties I had never considered before and showed me many qualities I hope to possess as a physician one day.
What has been your favorite aspect of HCMP?
My favorite aspect of HCMP has been getting to know the other members! I am always inspired by their unique personalities and motivations to enter the medical field.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy sleeping and complaining.
