Tell us about yourself: My name is Daelon Morais and I’m a junior Biology major in Health Science Scholars. I am currently an Intern in HCMP. My free time is spent with friends, on Netflix, and on vine compilations. I want to become a doctor because health is one of our most valuable resources and I believe I can make an impact on how it is implemented and delivered. |
| HCMP has obviously allowed me to shadow a variety of doctors and from them, I have learned more than just the science of medicine, but also the entire practice of it from handling patients to running the OR, clinic, or department. My favorite aspect of HCMP has been watching the doctors interact with their patients and seeing the relationships they have built. Also, I’ve got to do all of this alongside some amazing people and have learned so much from them as well. |
