Being in HCMP, surrounded by peers as passionate about medicine as me, let me learn new perspectives and build upon my own knowledge about healthcare while also developing long-lasting friendships.
Favorite HCMP memory?
Shadowing in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Dell Children’s was eye-opening. It was grueling to see children in such difficult situations, but being able to see the physicians’ and residents’ commitment to patient-centered care first-hand was fascinating (e.g., they are always very clear and transparent, collaborating with the child and their parents throughout the care experience )
What’s something fun about you?
I love singing, especially at nonprofit events that raise money for a good cause 🙂
