How has HCMP helped you grow?
HCMP has really humanized medicine for me. Prior to joining, I had never shadowed a physician, and this experience has really given me perspective on how high the stakes can be for doctors and the individuals they serve.
Favorite HCMP memory?
I loved being able to shadow a pediatric surgeon during her morning clinic. It was a privilege to watch how well the surgeon was able to connect to and comfort patients through some really difficult conversations, and it solidified my own motivation to pursue medicine.
What’s something fun about you?
I have a dog named Bleau like in Blue’s Clues… or like bleu cheese!! The spelling got weird because we thought it would be funny to spice things up but now nobody gets it 🙁
