
Marianna Deynzer
My name is Marianna Deynzer, and I am from Abilene, Texas. I am a Nutritional Sciences major with hopes of attending medical school after graduation from UT. My academic interests include maternal and infant nutrition, epigenetics, and metabolic health. In the future, I hope to incorporate my knowledge of nutrition into my career as a physician to effectively treat patients from underserved populations.

Michelle Huynh
My name is Michelle Huynh and I am from Fort Worth, Texas. I graduated from UT in 2024 with a Human Biology degree and I am currently in my 2nd year of medical school. I am interested in how health behaviors impact health outcomes and it has been especially interesting to observe this within the context of the maternal-infant relationship.
Fun fact: I like cute characters like Hello Kitty.

Jean Nie
Hello! My name is Jean Nie, and I’m from Grapevine, Texas. I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Nutritional Sciences and am currently a second-year medical student. My academic interests center on the ways in which lifestyle and nutrition influence health—particularly through the gut microbiome and epigenetics. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, playing board games, and working out!
Fun fact: I lived in New York City and tried dozens of bakeries/cafes for the best chocolate chip cookie in the city!

JoAnn Robledo
My name is JoAnn Robledo, and I am from Robstown, Texas. I graduated from UT Austin in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and then I accepted a position at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. My primary interest is in studying how social determinants of health can affect the well-being of various populations. I also enjoy working with patients from underserved populations.
Fun Fact: I participated in Texas Ballroom during my four years at UT.

Victoria Villegas
My name is Victoria Villegas, and I am from Houston, TX. I am a recent graduate with a Nutrition major at UT, and I hope to attend medical school. My interests include learning about nutrition and its importance to our overall health, nutritional research, volunteering, and working with underserved communities.
