Behavioral Underpinnings and Social Interaction on Hispanic Health
The 2009 International Conference on Aging in Americas was the third installment of a successful series of meetings on aging in the Mexican population.
The conference, co-organized by Drs. Jacqueline Angel, Keith Whitfield, Kyriakos Markides, and Fernando Torres-Gil, emphasized the intersection of biological, behavioral, and social issues to the older Mexican population. The conference was held on September 15-17, 2009 at the University of Texas at Austin campus.
