Objectives

  1. Describe and analyze contextual factors, encompassing socioeconomic disparities and healthcare access, contributing to health differentials among aging populations within and across different contexts.
  2. Examine the social context, including norms, social structures, and familial dynamics, that significantly influence health disparities among aging cohorts and impact family support mechanisms.
  3. Evaluate the behavioral patterns and their differential effects on health outcomes among aging individuals and families, emphasizing the role of interventions and new technologies in mitigating these disparities.
  4. Assess the effectiveness of data analytics, interventions, and technological solutions in meeting the specific needs of older adults and families.
