Fine Arts Faculty and Staff

Outreach Resources

As an initiative of the College of Fine Arts Admissions team, the Fine Arts Outreach program is designed to support the recruiting goals of each COFA department through strategic engagement with fine arts and CTE high school programs.

About Your Event

Planning or involved in a College of Fine Arts event that will involve one or more of the following groups?

  • High school students
  • High school educators
  • Fine arts district administrators
  • Community organizations that serve high school aged students (museums, studios, troupes, etc.)

How We Can Help

Event Day Participation

According to the needs of your event, we can participate in a variety of ways, including tabling, floating and socializing, and more.

Presentations and Info Sessions

We have several presentations designed with different audiences in mind that cover majors, minors, application requirements, opportunities for prospective students, and more.

Tours and Admissions Q&As

Our team is trained to facilitate tours of all Fine Arts buildings and able to answer questions from visitors regarding admissions to the University and College.

Admissions Materials and Brochures

We have a variety of printed materials we can supply for your event, including brochures for each Fine Arts departments, Admissions business cards, and more.

Document Templates

Need an itinerary or parking instructions for a visiting group? We have different template documents we can generate for your event.

Event Promotion

If you have an invitation or flyer for your event, we can share it with our network of fine arts and CTE high school educators and community organizations across Texas.

Austin Area Resources and Guides

Resources and guides we can provide include a local food and coffee guide, campus visit guides, local arts opportunities for groups, and more.

Student Registration

Our team can create a sign up page through Slate which will allow students to register in an organized, centralized manner and will collect relevant information for recruiting purposes.

You can request Admissions involvement for your event in one of two ways:

      • COFA printed materials and admissions resources
      • Document templates (itineraries, parking information, etc.)
      • Austin area resources and guides
      • Creation of Slate event page (generates a link that can be sent to invited students allowing them to register with their information in a centralized place)
      • Event promotion to high school educators and fine arts/CTE programs (can be focused on Austin area or expanded into statewide outreach)
      • COFA facilities tour and Q&A
