If you are attending the Society of Southwest Archivists conference in Albuquerque, please join us for our Brown Bag presentation at the there on Thursday, April 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We look forward to updating the SSA community on what we’ve been up to, and to hear how we can help!

TARO will be hosting two more in-person trainings in the coming weeks. Please note that the next session at UT-Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg has been rescheduled from Monday, April 17 to Tuesday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. A third session will be on May 25 UT-El Paso, also from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More information can be found here:

We’re also happy to report we’ve reached another milestone in our finding aid count: On March 28, TARO crossed 18,000 total finding aids on the site!

Welcome to March in Texas, where we spin the wheel to see which season it’s going to be today! There are a few updates to share this month; in particular, I’d like to welcome Elizabeth Garza of the Benson Latin American Collection at UT Austin as the new chair of our WebTech Subcommittee.
