TARO will be hosting two more in-person trainings in the coming weeks. Please note that the next session at UT-Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg has been rescheduled from Monday, April 17 to Tuesday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. We’re also happy to report we’ve reached another milestone in our finding aid count: On March 28, TARO crossed 18,000 total finding aids on the site!

Welcome to March in Texas, where we spin the wheel to see which season it’s going to be today! There are a few updates to share this month; in particular, I’d like to welcome Elizabeth Garza of the Benson Latin American Collection at UT Austin as the new chair of our WebTech Subcommittee.

Our first in-person training for 2023 is coming up on March 20. These trainings are sponsored by The Texas Historical Records Advisory Board (THRAB), and they bring TARO experts to locations across the vast expanse of our state. The locations and dates (all local time) are:

April 17 | UT-Rio Grande Valley, Edinburg | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
