June 2023 TARO News and Notes

Welcome to June, as Texas is almost done preheating for the summer solstice. While the summer months tend to be quieter, we do have news to share from the National Finding Aid Network (NAFAN) Project, following our note to “stay tuned” for more back at the Society of Southwest Archivists conference in late April.

OCLC, a partner on the project, has published five reports assembling and discussing findings from the 2020-2023 IMLS-funded project. The reports can be found on the OCLC website: https://www.oclc.org/research/publications/2023/nafan/nafan-summary-research.html

Additional information is available on the California Digital Library’s NAFAN project website: https://confluence.ucop.edu/display/NAFAN/Building+a+National+Finding+Aid+Network
