The University of Colorado is accepting applications for an Instructor of Russian Language. This is a one academic year, full-time (100%), non-tenure track position, with a possibility of renewal. Teaching responsibilities will include all levels of Russian language. Candidates will also be asked to teach courses in 20th century and/or contemporary Russian culture. Teaching load is three courses per semester. The position entails service components related to language placement and assessment of learning outcomes. Candidates must be willing to participate in extra-curricular activities of the program.

Qualifications: MA in Russian Studies, Russian Linguistics, or a closely related field; Native or near-native proficiency in Russian and English; College level teaching experience; Familiarity with current language pedagogy, and the ACTFL guidelines.
