The successful candidate will be a scholar with a growing international research reputation and commitment to delivering high quality teaching within the broader field of Slavonic and East European Studies, and in written and spoken Russian and Russophone Studies. We encourage applications from candidates with research interests in post-socialist and/or post-colonial literature and theory, transnational Russophone literatures and cultures, LGBTQI+ literatures and cultures, environmental humanities, and decolonial approaches to Russian language teaching. Candidates should hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting impact and knowledge exchange are essential. You should also have some familiarity with grant seeking processes in relation to research councils and other sources.
