The NYU Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia is inviting applications for its annual master’s research symposium and undergraduate research symposium. These symposia will bring together 20 undergraduates and 20 master’s students in separate events to present, discuss, network, and explore topics related to Russia, Ukraine, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia. They welcome presentation proposals from students in the USA, regardless of their academic field, who have conducted research projects or gained experiences in these regions. The symposia will include traditional research panels with 10-12 minute talks and discussion-based panels with 4-5 minute talks on various experiences related to the region. Participants will receive feedback and have the opportunity to engage with the audience. Polished presentations with slides are encouraged. Each symposium will last one day and feature keynote speakers, concluding with a networking dinner. The Jordan Center will cover travel costs and provide accommodation for accepted participants.
