7th LSUS Regional Student Scholars Forum

LSU Shreveport is pleased to announce the 7th Annual LSUS Regional Student Scholars Forum on Friday, March 11, 2022.  Both undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines are invited to present their research.  Participants can register online at: LSUS Regional Scholars Forum.  There is no registration fee.  The deadline for abstract submission is February 21, 2022.     

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain experience presenting their research and to receive feedback from peers and faculty in a supportive environment.  There are separate tracks for undergraduate and graduate students.  There are also prizes for best posters and presentations.  Over the years, this annual regional event has attracted participants from the following institutions:

Pitt’s Summer Language Institute is pleased to announce several open positions for summer instructors at SLI 2022. These appointments run from June 6 – July 15/29, 2022 (end date depends on language) in Pittsburgh, though there may also be a limited number of online (fully synchronous) opportunities.
We are a friendly collective at SLI and the program is INTENSIVE. The best candidates will be enthusiastic teachers who thrive on constant contact with the students. MA in the target language or related field and classroom experience using proficiency-based methods are required.
