The Appleman Graduate Fellowship supports conference participation and research (including travel and equipment) on Jewish topics, and language training relevant to pursuing Jewish Studies research.
General Eligibility:
Any student enrolled in a graduate program at UT who undertakes research on any Jewish topic in the course of their graduate career.
Amount: Reimbursement up to $2,000
How to Apply:
The application should include the following items:
- Completed application form
- A statement describing the project for which you are seeking funding (up to 500 words)
- A CV
- A budget (including other sources of funding secured or pending if applicable)
- A letter of support from advisor
To complete your application, submit either digital or paper copies of all items:

Paper copies of the applications should be submitted by mail to:
