The Language Workshop of the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies at Indiana University seeks instructors for its 2021 program in Russian (June 7 – July 30, 2021).
The Workshop is an intensive, 8-week program, providing accelerated, performance-based instruction. For details, see https://languageworkshop.indiana.edu/russian
Required Qualifications
Native or ILR 3 speaker of Russian
MA or equivalent in language, language instruction, linguistics, or related field
Experience teaching Russian to U.S. university students
U.S. citizen, non-citizen authorized to work in the U.S., or non-citizen able to receive a J visa
Desired Qualifications
Experience in communicative, standards-based instruction
Experience in teaching advanced Russian language courses
Experience in accelerated and intensive instruction
Experience in online teaching
2 semesters or more experience teaching language in U.S. at the university level
