Coordinate undergraduate semester study abroad programs for the BBA International Programs Office at the McCombs School of Business. The position focuses on student advising, credit processing, events, and student activities at a top-ranked BBA program.

Responsibilities
Advise students to promote study abroad, discuss planning and prepare for semester study abroad programming. Assist McCombs students while abroad and upon return to UT. Coordinate exchange programs with foreign institutions by corresponding with partners, managing student needs, and administering exchanges from application to grade posting for outgoing students and during orientation and academic advising for incoming students.

Coordinate evaluation of records for courses taken abroad, UT course equivalents, and the records database. Coordinate all aspects of grade transfers and reporting from abroad.

Provide logistical support: coordinate room reservations, OOEFs alongside Administrative Associate. Hiring, onboarding and supervision of 2-3 student workers per semester.

Website updating/management. Maintain visa advice information. Maintain financial aid budgets. Manage Parents Council Semester Scholarship. Coordinate some promotional events (ex: study abroad info sessions and biannual photo contest). Manage the recruitment of returning study abroad students and international exchange students participating in the Global Ambassadors Program. Coordinate scheduling of ambassadors during promotional events. Coordinate, maintain and facilitate the Buddy Program. Manage study abroad information sessions for MAN 101 course.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. A combination of three years of experience in coordinating a program or project; experience teaching, counseling, or advising students in an academic program setting; experience in student personnel programs. Must enjoy and be comfortable/proficient in giving presentations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to collaborate and work in teams. Ability to organize and prioritize constant workload of multiple tasks. Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated adaptability.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience living, studying and/or working abroad. Experience advising international students. Experience coordinating international programs. Experience working with Content Management Systems.
