Painted Hooves: Studio Art MFA Thesis Exhibition
May 13 – 18, 2022
“Painted Hooves features work from a combined cohort of sixteen graduating MFA students from UT Austin. After concurrently navigating a graduate program and an ongoing pandemic—which has involved an alternation of virtual and in-person gatherings—this group of students has organized an exhibition that places their work in conversation within the VAC’s galleries.”
Greenhill Symposium
The Eleanor Greenhill Symposium (virtual) was held April 2, 2022. The date for 2023 is March 25.
The Greenhill Symposium showcases research by art history graduate students and is a unique way to get feedback from peers and faculty through discussion and exchange. This is an excellent opportunity to present research compiled from seminar papers, a Masters thesis, or a chapter of a dissertation. We are seeking a diverse spread of papers, and encourage presentations on any and all art historical periods and subjects.
