CFP: Wisconsin Slavic Conference

Abstracts for 20-minute presentations on any aspect of Slavic literatures, cultures (including film, music, and the visual arts), linguistics, and history are invited for the annual Wisconsin Slavic Conference (formerly AATSEEL-Wisconsin). Comparative topics and interdisciplinary approaches are welcome and encouraged! The conference will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Friday and Saturday, March 29th and 30th, 2019.

This year’s keynote lecture will be delivered by Professor Harsha Ram (University of California Berkeley).

The conference will be held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Pyle Center. The Pyle Center is wheelchair-accessible and all-gender restrooms will be available. Microphones will be used by all speakers.

To present a paper at the Wisconsin Slavic Conference, please submit a proposal by January 14, 2019.

A complete proposal consists of:

1. Author’s contact information (name, affiliation, and email).

2. Paper title
3. Abstract (150-300 words)
4. Equipment request, if necessary

5. Other accomodations requests, if necessary (ex. Dietary needs, mobility-related access, etc.)
