Acad. Job: Visiting Asst. Professor (Colorado Boulder)

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a one-academic-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Russian Studies, starting August 19, 2019.  Position involves teaching survey courses in Russian literature and culture, folklore, and gender studies (20th-21st c.). Teaching load is two courses per semester (four per academic year).

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures houses programs in German (BA, MA, Ph.D.), Russian (BA, MA), and Nordic Studies (minor). For more information about the department, please visit their web site (http://gsll.colorado).

Required: Ph.D. in Russian Studies or a closely related field by August 2019; at least one year of college-level teaching experience, which may be attained during graduate study; native or near-native proficiency in Russian.
