SRAS has announced openings for programs which combine Russian language instruction with subject studies and allow students to visit multiple countries. 

**Poland**International Relations**Security Studies**History**Cybersecurity** 

Security and Society Summer School

Now in its 5th year, this summer school is hosted by Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, Poland. The following courses are open:

– Session 1 (May 25 – June 15, 2019): Security Studies and Central Europe, Introduction to Cybersecurity Policy, CEE: The Road to Democracy

– Session 2 (June 15 – July 6, 2019): Terrorism and Hybrid Warfare, Between Hitler and Stalin.

– Internship (June 15 – August 3, 201): Terrorism Research Center or Museum Studies option. Must be combined with at least one course.

Includes: Tuition, accommodations, excursion program, one three-day trip (Berlin, Krakow) per course, insurance, airport pickup, transcript of studies.

**Georgia**Foodways**Sustainability**Tourism development and Management**Anthropology**

Georgian Foodways: Global Pathways/Local Contexts

Join Professor Michael Denner of Stetson University, as he leads you in this two-week exploration of the country of Georgia. Your time will be spent traveling its breathtaking landscapes, while cooking, eating, talking, and experiencing the connection between identity and culinary tradition. 

Program Dates: June 16 – June 30, 2019

Cost: $3,195 (no credit) / $3,695 (credit)
Includes: Tuition, accommodation with 2 meals/day, insurance, transportation within Georgia.

EXTENSION! Georgian Footways

Join the Transcaucasian Trail project, an effort to build trail infrastructure that benefits local communities and trail users through the development of sustainable tourism. While with the project, you will live and work in the mountains, designing and building the trail and engaging with local communities, learning first-hand what it takes to implement a sustainable development project and gaining insight into the practical implications the project has for the people who live along the trail.

**Ukraine**

Applications are still open for language study and we are offering a special combination incentive to add intensive Russian language study in Kyiv to a SRAS summer program in Poland or Georgia. Your experience in Kyiv includes homestay with half board, 20 academic hours per week of study, airport transfers, peer tutoring, and excursion program. POLAND + UKRAINE:

  • Add 2/4 weeks of intensive Russian in Kyiv to one session/course in Poland for $750/$1400
  • Add 2/4 weeks of intensive Russian in Kyiv to two sessions/courses in Poland for $600/$1100

GEORGIA + UKRAINE:

  • Add 2/4 weeks of intensive Russian in Kyiv to Georgian Foodways for $750/$1500

The above costs do not include transportation between countries. There are inexpensive connections between Warsaw and Kyiv and between Tbilisi and Kyiv.
