Anthropology of Violence and Post-Soviet Ethnography – Lecturer (McGill University)

The Department of Anthropology seeks applications to fill a non-tenure track, eighteen-month position of Faculty Lecturer with teaching responsibilities in the Anthropology of Violence and Post-Soviet Ethnography. The teaching load is 8 courses over three terms (Winter, Fall, Winter). The subject and title of the courses will be determined in consultation with the Chair of Anthropology.

The 18-month appointment commences January 1, 2023. Applicants should have a PhD in Anthropology and a specialization in the Anthropology of Violence and/or Post-Soviet Ethnography.

The salary is $70,000 annually.
