Lang: Training: Spots Still Available for Pitt SLI (Univ. of Pittsburgh)

Pitt’s SLI still has funding for a few partial scholarships to the 2023 program. It is easy to apply by May 1 using the links on our website’s program pages www.sli.pitt.edu

After May 1, we can often still take applications, but students should email us first at sliadmin@pitt.edu to ask about space availability and request a late application.

Students who are interested in applying to an SLI abroad program in Poland, Montenegro, Czech Republic, or Slovakia should apply as soon as possible.

We are still accepting applications for the languages and levels listed below. Most levels are available in both in-person and online, synchronous formats (exceptions noted under the list).

•            Arabic (beginning and intermediate) 

•            Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin, Serbian (beginning through fourth year)

•            Czech (beginning; higher levels abroad) 

•            Polish (beginning* and intermediate; higher levels abroad)

•            Russian (beginning* through fourth year) 

•            Slovak** (beginning and intermediate; higher levels abroad)

•            Turkish (intermediate*) 

•            Ukrainian (beginning) 

*Beginning Polish, Beginning Russian, and Intermediate Turkish will be in person only. All other levels of Russian and Intermediate Polish are available both in person and online.

**Slovak domestic courses will be offered online only.
