Learn Russian in Uzbekistan

February 5 – March 3, 2024

Who we are and what we can offer you

Our Igrayuchi School is based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where we welcome international students in our winter and summer programs of Russian.

Since more than 10 years we have worked in Russia and Uzbekistan at summer schools organized by some Russian, American and British universities, including Higher School of Economics in Moscow, North Carolina University, University of Texas, Middlebury College, Dickinson College, British RLUS summer programs, Swiss joint programs organized by universities of Freiburg, Basel and Lausanne, Switzerland.

Now we are happy to announce our next Winter School of Russian in Tashkent to take place from 5 February to 3 March, 2024.

We invite learners of the Russian language to join us in the wonderful Uzbekistan!

Why should your students learn Russian in Uzbekistan?

– Most local people here speak Russian. And they are very open, curious and sociable, so students can practice a lot.

– Streets in Tashkent are full of Russian texts (alongside Uzbek, of course).

– Not only lessons but also our city tours, master-classes and other extracurricular activities will be held in Russian.

– our program includes Russian lessons from native-speaking Russian teachers, for example, Ekaterina Guskova, a famous author of Russian course books from Moscow, Russia.

Lessons and activities for your students

The classes will be held in the downtown of Tashkent, in modern well-equipped classrooms.

Students will reside in the same area near the school, as it is the best option as regards city life: one can find lots of shops, banks, cafes, restaurants, markets, parks, national cuisine places, fitness centers, bowling, tennis, cinema, a Russian church, art galleries, etc.

Students will enjoy trips to Samarkand, Bukhara, Tian Shan mountains, cooking classes, gatherings with local young people, painting workshops, cinema nights, city tours, and much more.
