Educational Center “Cosmopolitan” has only two vacant spots available for their winter internship program. These will take place at the children’s camp just outside Novosibirsk, the administrative capital of Siberia and the centre of Russia. The dates of the program are January 3rd through January 12th, 2019.

These positions are open to university students. No previous teaching experience, no previous knowledge of Russian is required. Interning at this camp, students will gain valuable skills and experience for their future profession while being immersed in the Russian culture and having intensive practice in the Russian language. This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the coolest festive season in Siberia with lots of exciting events, and experience all the winter fun one could dream of in just ten days.

Crossroads Eurasia is now accepting applications for its 2019 internship program in Russia.

What is Crossroads Eurasia?
Founded in 2010, Crossroads Eurasia is about complementing your study of the Russian language with a practical hands-on experience.

Participants can teach English, work as a camp counselor, do translation, or experience Russia at street level via the new media / journalism program. Options can be combined.

Prof. Dev.: Year long Fellowship in Moscow (Alfa Bank)

The Alfa Fellowship is now accepting applications for their 2019-20 year program.

The Alfa Fellowship Program is a distinguished international initiative that each year offers up to 18 accomplished young Americans, Britons, and Germans the opportunity to complete a high-level professional development program in Russia. Over the course of the program, fellows complete work placements at leading institutions, attend professional seminars, and receive intensive language training. The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend, accommodation, insurance, all program-related travel costs, language training in Russia, and private tutoring in the U.S., U.K., or Germany.

The Alfa Fellowship Program brings young professionals with considerable expertise to Moscow to both experience the Russian work culture and to contribute their knowledge in a professional setting. Fellows’ backgrounds and interests are diverse, but generally lie in the areas of business, economics, journalism, law, public policy or related fields. Fellows are required to have a Master’s degree, at least two years of work experience, a strong interest in Russian and Eurasian affairs, exceptional academic and professional credentials, and proven personal initiative and leadership skills in order to qualify for the program.

The Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia – Tajikistan invites energetic and motivated graduate and undergraduate students to apply for our international internship program in Dushanbe.

Our internship program offers foreigners the chance to acquaint themselves with development work in Central Asia, a rapidly changing region comprising five separate countries. Participants gain experience in project implementation, research, and project evaluation. The program includes possible working trips to project sites. Previous participants have gone on to become major scholars in Central Asian studies and work for institutions like the UN and State Department. Internship: Virtual Intern (EducationUSA)

This internship is perfect for students interested in working with a dynamic group of students and supporting the future leaders of Ukraine. Interns will develop their cross-cultural, communication, presentation, and leadership skills as they work with the U.S. Embassy’s target audience of regional youth populations and internally displaced persons from Crimea and Donbas. In addition, interns will gain practical experience in international student advising.
EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of advising centers in over 175 countries. Advising centers in Ukraine provide prospective applicants to U.S. colleges and universities with accurate, comprehensive, and timely information on opportunities to experience U.S. higher education. Interns selected for the project will work under the supervision of EducationUSA center in Kyiv and engage with students in the country-wide Competitive College Club program.
EducationUSA Ukraine is looking for two interns to work with a cohort of about 70 Ukrainians seeking admission to Bachelor, Master’s, or PhD programs in the U.S. Interns will engage with students by leading virtual workshops/presentations on the U.S. admissions process, campus culture, and American culture; proof reading essays, sharing their own college experiences, and co-leading book discussions.
