DIA’s 2022 Louis Stokes Educational Scholarship Program is open for applications until October 14, 2021! This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in the Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Career field. WHO CAN APPLY:
This announcement is open to US citizens who are high school seniors, college freshman, and college sophomores with a demonstrated financial need (see application requirements). Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students.
Human Intelligence Career Field specialties include:
• Intelligence Studies
• International Studies
• Security Studies
• Cyber Security
• Cultural Studies with a Study abroad Component
• Political Science
STOKES program participants attend classes full-time during the academic school year and report to DIA for 12-week internship periods during summer breaks. STOKES program participants receive:
• Tuition and mandatory fees (up to $18,000 per year) toward a four-year degree program at an accredited college or university selected by the participant
• Reimbursement of textbooks and school supplies
• Annual salary, paid bi-weekly
• Full benefits, to include: Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) and Federal Employee Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) and Thrift Savings Plan (TSP)
• Permanent employment upon graduation from the undergraduate degree program
