The Yerevan Center for International Education of the European University at Saint Petersburg (YCIE/E-Center) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as its inaugural Academic Director. The YCIE is an academic hub supporting conferences, lectures, events, educational programs, and networking opportunities in Yerevan, Armenia. YCIE serves as a link connecting the Armenian scholarly and professional communities with those in Eurasia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and beyond. To qualify, A candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience in academic registration. A Ph.D. In a relevant field of the humanities or social sciences is required (degree must be in hand by January, 2024). The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work well with diverse international populations. Full-time residence in Yerevan or its close environs beginning no later than June 1, 2024, and preferably earlier, will be required.
