You will find a section on the Dashboard of Reusable Content Blocks that can be used in Layout Builder pages. They make it possible for you to create content once and publish it in multiple places. A common use is contact information for an Admission’s staff member.

To Delete a Reusable Block
If you’ve decided you no longer want to use a reusable block, you must first remove the reusable block from all pages it is used on. Then you can delete the block.
Web Team Added Reusable Blocks
The web team has provided blocks on the sites to encourage consistency throughout the website, provide some functionality or special styling, and for the Dashboard or general theme purposes.
(Someone may have changed or deleted these reusable blocks since the site launch.)
Use the block to stay consistent when adding a “Back to Top” link. Read more about Linking to Another Spot on the Page.
Back to Table of Contents
Use the block to stay consistent when adding a “Back to Contents” link, if you have a Table of Contents design pattern you use on your site. Read more about Linking to Another Spot on the Page and see your site’s Content Editor Guide.
Horizontal Spacer
For creating horizontal space you can use the “Blank Column” reusable block. This has been useful in some edge case layouts. If you do use it, take extra care to review your content in medium and small screen sizes as it tends to add unwanted space.
Site Specific
Some sites have reusable blocks specific to them. Usually they provide specially designed features to be used throughout the site.
For Web Team’s Use
There are a half dozen blocks that are for the Web team’s use. They have been name-spaced with “Z_”. Please do not edit these blocks.
Tip
If you use a lot of reusable blocks, you may want to namespace them in order to group them together logically, for ease of management.
