FAQs and Recommended Workflows

Common workflows and processes:

  • Content Administrators and Contributors working together.
  • Stage or prototyping content for stakeholders.
  • Create a reusable piece of content to place on multiple pages.
  • Remove content and keeping a record of it.
  • Undo an edit that was made to a page.
  • Add a temporary message about an issue in the building or on campus.
  • Share and promote events.

Less common, but cool to know workflows and processes:

  • I want the Universal Resource Locator (URL) path address for the page to be different than the Title of the page.
  • I need to change the Universal Resource Locator (URL) path for a page that is already “live.”
  • Clone content in order to:
    • Replicate content to create different but similar pages.
    • Create a template for a type of page layout that you frequently use.
  • Create a table of contents on the top of a long scroll page.
  • What to do if I accidentally deleted something.
