Faculty Development Workshops

Do you ever wish you have more opportunities to learn about new teaching methods or classroom technologies and how to put them to use?

Well, now you do!

Each semester we will be hosting a number of faculty “lunch-n-learn” workshops where you can come to ask questions, get answers, hear about new strategies, and more. The intent of these monthly gatherings is to put practical resources into your hands to help you make your classes exactly what you want and need them to be. Topics will focus mainly on best practices in instruction and use of technology as well as simple techniques you can use to apply what you learn.

Faculty Development Workshops:

* Each moth’s topic will be determined by input from faculty based on interest and needs.

But, what if I can’t make it to the workshop?

No problem! Each month, resources will be posted to this blog directly related to the topics we cover and follow up emails will be sent to all faculty, whether they are able to attend or not. Workshops are also scheduled on alternating Wednesdays or Thursdays to accommodate as many people’s schedules as possible.

Finally, even if you CAN attend these workshops, you’re always welcome to come by during office hours for a consultation. You can also contact me at your convenience to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
