Give your Canvas Course a “Facelift”

The Spring 2021 semester is fast approaching and what better time to think about what changes you’d like to make to your Canvas course!

There are TONS of things you can do to make your Canvas course less confusing and easier for students to navigate, or simply more inviting and/or less intimidating. And, I’m here to work with you to make your course exactly what you (and your students) want it to be.

So, what can you do?

This short video shows you several examples of what I’ve worked with Nursing faculty to create and what you can do in your courses:

TOTAL Course and Templates

The Center for Teaching and Learning, in consultation with faculty from across campus, created the Transitioning to Online Teaching (TOTAL) canvas course which includes TONS of great ideas and resources, including a course homepage template you can use.

And, if you’d like to see some examples, here are two course design options available here in Nursing:

There are LOTS AND LOTS of other things we can do to update your Canvas course and I would love to work with you to start making your course the best it  can be.

If you’d like to start working on your Canvas course, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
