Overview of the Position

This position will assist the Public Affairs team to produce compelling visual and written communications to internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include travel to multiple locations around Austin, sometimes consecutively to shoot and edit video, take photos, design/develop marketing materials, create social media campaigns, write for the internal newsletter, maintain the website, and contribute to community outreach for the department of Public Works.

Key Responsibilities

Traveling to multiple work locations to shoot high-quality digital footage.
Digital film production, including working in Adobe Premiere.
Working with sound and lighting.
Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Adobe After Effects.
Preparing written communication for the department.
