The Anti-Defamation League’s Campus Leaders Mission to Israel, scheduled to take place August 5-15, 2013, provides an opportunity for student leaders to receive an up-close and personal perspective on Israel. Mission participants learn about the strategic and social realities of Israel by meeting with decision-makers, government and military officials, diplomats, journalists, students, and everyday Israelis – Arab and Jewish – from diverse communities, cultures, and backgrounds.
Qualified applicants must be college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who are leaders on their college/university campus through political involvement, student activism, and/or editors of the campus newspaper. Fifteen to twenty students from around the country will be selected to participate. Students who have previously visited Israel are not eligible.
There will be no cost to selected participants. This includes travel to and from Israel, accommodations, meals, and a stipend of up to $200 for travel to New York.
