ECOM Agroindustrial Summer 2023 Internship: Sustainability Support

ECOM Agroindustrial Corp. Ltd is a leading global commodity merchant and sustainable supply chain management company. As an origin-integrated business operating in over 40 major producing countries worldwide, ECOM focuses primarily on coffee, cotton, and cocoa, as well as participating in selected agricultural product markets. ECOM is one of the top two merchants in coffee, the largest coffee miller, and amongst the top merchants in cocoa, making ECOM a top tier participant in each of its core businesses. Its strategy allows ECOM to act as a sole intermediary and an integrated supplier for its end consumers.

The Role:

The Sustainability intern will have the opportunity to learn about the cocoa and coffee supply chain in both Ecuador and Peru as well as be familiarized with our Sustainability Strategy with Latin America getting first-hand experience to our Sustainable Management Services (SMS) team, and the farmers we work with.

The objective of this internship is for the intern to be exposed to our supply chain and help us in the execution of our sustainability goals, as well as improve our communication and feedback loops with different stakeholders including our farmers, field partners and others.

Expected Deliveries:

1. Support Sustainability Plan finalization with baseline assessment
2. Support Concept Note development for programs on sustainability interventions
3. Get involved in the planning and socialization of the sustainability plan for the teams
4. Consolidated material categorized and labeled in the assigned Google Drive Folder
5. Other deliverables might be added and clearly identified at the beginning of the internship.
6. Evaluation of internship including key learnings for the intern and providing feedback to ECOM

BENEFITS:

The company will provide round trip flight tickets if travel is required. The company will also provide full accommodation for the stay of the intern. The intern will also receive a local SIM card for communication with a set data package. The intern will receive a certificate of completion, and a tailored recommendation letter will be provided for excelling interns. We require the intern to have health insurance valid during travel. We recommend an “Assist Card” for travel.

ABOUT

Kids Tooth Team Outreach believes that all children deserve the best care in the world by the most well-trained doctors and staff in the safest and cleanest facilities, regardless of their socioeconomic status or geographic location. That’s why our mobile pediatric dental clinic brings a safe, fun environment to patients who need access to quality care — free of charge.

INTERNSHIP

Kids Tooth Team Outreach is a non-profit organization that provides free dental care to children in underserved communities in Central Texas through their mobile clinic as a dental home. In this unpaid marketing internship, you will collaboratively lead the organization’s marketing initiatives and strategies such as non-profit networking and research, grant finding and writing, leading fundraising events, creating social media posts, and connecting with your current undergraduate community supervised by Co-Founder, Tim Otto. This position offers practice of strong marketing skills in a non-profit setting with a specific focus in healthcare advocacy. Requires a 10-12 hr time commitment and self motivation to fulfill other BDP Connecting Experience requirements. Miracle Foundation Summer 2023 Internship Opportunities – Development and Marketing Interns

Miracle Foundation is part of a global network of non-profit organizations leading the worldwide movement to end the need for orphanages in our lifetime. You can make a difference for children by applying to be an intern at Miracle Foundation. We are currently accepting applications for the Summer 2023 semester.

 

Development Intern

Reports to: Development Coordinator 

Intern Period: Summer 2023

Hours: 10-15 hours per week

The Fundraising Intern works with the Development Coordinator to assist with donor thank you’s, fundraising campaigns, analyzing data and more. The intern will have the opportunity to attend team meetings and learn from the seasoned staff in each area.

Miracle Foundation offers both formal (for class credit) and informal internships. Interns are required to donate at least 10 hours per week of their time; preferred days are Mondays and Thursdays in the office with some remote work.

Requirements

Miracle interns must exemplify the following:

  • Global perspective, belief in our mission, and a passion for making a difference
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of computer proficiency, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with effective time-management skills
  • Strong work ethic, the ability to follow through, and a willingness to do what needs to be done, no matter how large or small
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and conscientious
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude
  • Professional, prompt, and dresses appropriately
  • Must be older than 18 or in college.

Marketing Intern

Reports to: Development Coordinator

The Marketing Intern works with the Development Coordinator to assist with marketing efforts, assist with creative materials, website, analyzing data and more. The intern will have the opportunity to attend team meetings and learn from the seasoned staff in each area.
