Spring 2024 Internship through the HAHN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

 

HAHN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
Hahn is seeking a Fellow with a strong understanding of communications and content creation, looking to launch their career in the integrated communications field. This part-time internship position will tentatively run January-May 2024. The role is ideal for a talented undergraduate senior or graduate student, or an early-career professional.

Who You Are

  • A recent or soon-to-be college graduate with previous work experience through internships or other related work, producing demonstrated results while working on a fast-paced communications team.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, a passion for learning and a desire to be an integral part of a collaborative and creative team.
  • Knowledgeable on the digital and traditional media landscape and basic communications strategies and tactics.
  • Detail-oriented, agile and eager to contribute and learn from industry professionals.
  • Possess strong project management, time management and organizational skills.
  • Enjoy researching and keeping up with media consumption habits and media trends.
  • Interested in account management.

Responsibilities

  • Writing, editing and distributing PR plans, releases, pitches, talking points, Q&As and client emails.
  • Media monitoring of online and broadcast coverage using Meltwater.
  • Conducting industry research, building media lists, supporting traditional and digital PR campaigns and performing other duties as necessary.

Landmarks Spring Internship 2023

EDUCATION INTERNSHIP (PAID)

Hourly salary $12.00

Hours per week 10 hours/week, flexible within M-F 9-5pm with some evenings and weekends.

Overall purpose of the position: 

Landmarks is seeking an upper-level undergraduate or graduate-level intern to assist its active education department. The intern will support Landmarks’ Education Coordinator with a range of projects, including assisting with the launch of installations by internationally known artists and developing programming for broad audiences.

Internship with the Children’s Defense Fund Texas – Spring 2023

Overview

For years, we at CDF-Texas have been honored to welcome dozens of talented college and graduate-level students to our internship program. Along with CDF-Texas staff, our interns ensure Texas children have the resources, support, and institutions to become our state’s next generation of advocates and leaders.

We are proud to house an intentional and structured internship program where students get firsthand experience with

  • professional advocacy,
  • affecting policy change,
  • working with young people,
  • and more.

In addition to this experience, our program connects interns to one of the most powerful networks in the nonprofit world.

Interns are vital to CDF-Texas’s work, and we are pleased to play a role in supporting the next generation of advocates.

Internship Details:

  • Timeframe: Spring 2023 term
  • Time Commitment: 15 to 20 hours/week
  • Compensation: $15/hour for up to 20 hours/week
  • Deadline: Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of December 5th at 11:59pm

This internship will be remote with the possibility of hybrid work.
