The Noesis Market Research Internship will offer individuals the unique opportunity to gain real world experience with a growing energy management startup. The Energy Efficiency Research Intern is responsible for researching topics in the energy industry, writing thoughtful articles, and building a backlog of content as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
–Conduct research for publication on the Noesis web site.
–Research will range from getting started topics to advance best practices
–Topic area examples: building energy management, demand response, HVAC, CHP, lighting; and energy procurement.
–Write blog posts; Create discussion topics; and collaborate with other energy professionals.
REQUIRED SKILLS
–Obtaining a Bachelor Degree or recent college graduate
–Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be flexible and part of a growing and empowered team, plus strong self-driven personality with a keen sense of delivering completed projects in a timely manner
–Strong writing skills
–Must be self-motivated and open to learning and sharing new ideas
–Experience with energy management and building related technologies is a plus
HOURS & LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT
This role is a part-time assignment 10 hrs./week. Remote locations are acceptable but applicant should be able to participate in a weekly online planning meetings.
COMPENSATION
This is a paid internship. $10 -$15 hr.
