GENaustin’s mission is to support and guide girls as they navigate the unique pressures of girlhood. Their programs serve girls in grades 4-12 all throughout Central Texas.
Fall intern placements are available for 10-30 hours a week, for credit, and are a great fit for students who are passionate about gender equality. GENaustin is seeking students who have interest in:
- Working directly with girls—grades 4-12, delivering skill building workshops, and other program coordination tasks.
- Event planning—helping to run the annual We Are Girls conference which serves 1,600 parents, girls and educators in November.
- Fundraising—gaining first hand experience in the development program of a nonprofit.
