Interested in a research assistant position? Check out the School of Social Work’s list of research projects:
http://www.utexas.edu/ssw/cswr/projects/project-list/
If you find a project you are interested in, first do some research on the faculty completing the project and then contact that professor directly. Ask them if they could use an undergraduate research assistant. You can also check out the BDP website for suggestions on how to contact faculty: http://www.utexas.edu/ugs/bdp/current/experiences/mentor.
Always remember that BDP students can contact their advisor at any time to discuss Connecting Experiences ideas, plans and get tips on reaching out to faculty about research assistant opportunities.
