Children of All Nations is a 501(c)3 child welfare organization based in Austin, Texas. We specialize in connecting orphans throughout the world with their forever families through international adoption.
We are currently looking for part-time interns for the Fall semester. We are looking for one who is FLUENT in French to provide support to the case managers of our African and Haitian adoption programs. Responsibilities include: Calling French-speaking staff, government officials, and orphanages in foreign countries to provide program support; translation of French documents to English and vice versa; assisting case managers as necessary to advocate for the adoption of orphaned children abroad.
We are also looking for students who have a background in social work or counseling who can support our case managers with administrative and clerical tasks associated with our adoption case management, dossier processing, and other tasks as assigned.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the intern may also work with the Development Specialist to contact the foreign governments of African countries to explore the possibility of opening adoption or humanitarian aid programs there, researching the programs’ potential for success, help to develop orphan care programs worldwide, and other tasks as assigned. The intern should be available part-time on weekdays between 8:30 am and 4 pm and the schedule is flexible depending on your class schedule.
Students should be a junior or senior in college and preferred candidates will have experience studying abroad or working/communicating with people from other countries.
