As the official child support enforcement agency for the State of Texas, the Office of the Attorney General provides services for parents who wish to obtain or provide support for their children.
The Office of the Attorney General provides parents with a full range of child support services at no cost. The services are required by federal law and funded by the federal government and the State of Texas.
Children’s Artwork Project – Shared Parenting Program
*creation of a digital library of children’s artwork
*categorization and cataloging images for multiple uses
*creation of an electronic filing system in a searchable database
In addition, Planning:
•Plans and leads Strategic and Business Planning processes division wide
•Forecasts, tracks and reports state performance and federal incentive measures
•Forecasts revenue estimates, collection sources state disbursement unit (SDU) payments processed, and federal incentives
•Tracks the performance and trends of other states for comparable metrics and data
•Coordinates the fiscal note team and drafts fiscal notes
•Provides CSD elements of the Legislative Appropriations Request
•Develops and drafts the CSD business, strategic, and workforce plans
•Drafts and submits reports required by the Texas Family Code
•Performs ad hoc internal, state, and national financial analysis of performance data for executive management
•Assists in annual goal setting to the regional and field office level
•Oversees the preparation of federal reporting data used to ensure data reliability
Intern will train and demonstrate the following skills:
•Assisting staff in collecting, organizing, and preparing economic data for various planning reports and projects.
•Assisting in the creation of a data repository for micro- and macro-economic data.
•Assisting in the review and finalization other deliverables as assigned.
