The Nobelity Project seeks ROCKSTAR Intern for Spring 2016 semester
COMMITMENT: PT unpaid internship, flexible hours, plus high profile event 2/14/16
ABOUT US: The Nobelity Project is a non-profit organization focused on education for all. Based in Austin, we tell stories through the power of film about global issues – and then take action. For over a decade, The Nobelity Project has provided resources (classrooms, libraries and clean water to communities in Kenya, Honduras, Nepal and the US) to ensure that as many children as possible have an opportunity to an education. We firmly believe that local action has a profound global impact.
WHO:
- Multi-tasker who handles business like a boss
- Participate in wide array of projects, both in team setting and on individual basis
- Help with day-to-day tasks, event management, possibly grant research
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional appearance
- Fast learner, quick to action, work with urgency and keep calm under pressure
- Willing to take on all assigned tasks no matter how small
WHAT:
- Hands-on training in nonprofit sector, work with executive board members andmajor donors, work major gala
- Web development, social media/marketing, clean online files, data entry
- Nonstop prep and errands
- Be a strong volunteer leader, cordially interact with prominent guests, run asilent auction, follow-up with donors and help plan next fundraising event
WHEN: Hours are somewhat flexible but Valentine’s Day availability is a must – February 14th 2016 is a big, fun night: we’ll work very hard and have a LOT of fun!
WHERE: The Nobelity Project is near 10th & West Ave. Some work may be done remotely, however reliable transportation and cell phone are required. (Mileage stipend may be negotiable.)
